Welcome to the Northern Flood Group website
Why we need a Northern Group
Whilst some issues are best approached at a very local level by individual Flood Action Groups there are others that we believe can be better addressed by a larger group. Some of the decision makers will pay more attention to us if we have a unified voice.
For this reason we propose to set up a Northern Flood Group that can pool its resources and knowledge to put pressure on the necessary bodies. Our conference slogan was:
Sharing a voice to protect our communities
All Northern Flood Action Groups, and their members, are invited to join us. We intend to have regular conferences and meetings. We also intend to set up working groups to address pressing issues.
